Both my boys have been part of the wonderful setting that Annmarie has created at her home. From my first meeting with Annmarie I felt at ease. She is a warm, caring, professional person who has looked after my children like they are family.

Enjoying lots of fun activities to keep them stimulated and sharing with us through daily blogs. Encouraging good behaviour, kindness, compassion to others and always giving children her full attention during sessions. At the same time she's able to talk easily to the parents and pass on anything she knows will interest or concern them.

I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Annmarie provided and I'm certain that being in such a positive and happy environment has helped them develop into the confident and self assured boys they are.

They look forward to school holidays to spend time with her again and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Ann Marie has looked after all 3 of my children since she first opened in 2015. The term 'looked after' does not begin to describe the love & affection in Ann Marie's heart & home. So much so that my school age children, fight over who is going to see her when they are off school. She is loved like an Aunty by my children & it is only too apparent how much she loves not only mine, but all of the children she cares for. I have referred friends in abundance & all of them have repeatedly thanked me for recommending Groovie tots.

The setting is always spotlessly clean & tidy, every detail is carefully thought out. Ann Marie is always up to date with documentation & sends regular progress updates, regarding daily goings on & more detailed progress charts which are carefully thought out with an abundance of evidence in accordance with Early years framework. I could not feel more reassured leaving my child with my mother. Ann Marie has become like a close family member to us along with her wonderful partner Darren.

I have used the service for both my daughter and my son. Annmarie has looked after my daughter since she was 10 months old and I was worried about leaving my child when returning back to work from maternity leave, but Annmarie was lovely and understanding and was flexible with the hours, so I had a more gradual wean in for her. I wanted an environment where they could interact with other children, but where there were less children than a playcentre, as I wanted them to have more one-to-one care with the same person.

After the first few days of going to Annmaries my children couldn't wait to go and really loved the time playing with their friends.

Annmarie has helped them to develop significantly from talking, to turn taking and sharing. The children have structure to the day and my children love the circle time and nursery rhyme singing in the morning. The children have playtime together and independent play too with soft toys, puzzles, roleplay, singing, dancing and interactive games and my children come home every day with the stories of what they have been up to.

Annmarie provides the children with healthy meals and snacks and has assisted my children to feed themselves and drink from a cup and also helped my children with toileting and toilet training. We have also received regular reports on where each of our children was in reaching their age-related development milestones. Through this Annmarie identified a walking and running issue with my daughter, because of this she was referred from the GP to the Physiotherapist and identifying this young enabled us to get help and the correct footwear and support, and this now shouldn't be such an issue to her as she grows up. Annmarie also shares this information with the Healthcare Visitors and also the School when my daughter started, so that the school had a handover from her of the milestones she had reached and when and so they were aware of issues including her walking and running difficulties.

When I had my son 2 years after my daughter started Groovie Tots, I knew that I wanted him to go to there too, as Annmarie was brilliant with my daughter and all the other children in her care, that I didn't want him to go anywhere else. Now my daughter is at school she gets upset that he is going to Groovie Tots and she isn't, she asks to go in the school holidays so that she can see Annmarie and all of her friends. They both love Groovie Tots and thoroughly enjoy their time there and will continue to attend whenever they can.

I would highly recommend Annmarie and Groovie Tots to everyone as the love, support and nurturing she gives the children is outstanding.
